Victoria Thompson is the founder of Ready for the World who's backed by an amazing team of women leaders and volunteers across the United States.
Our history
Victoria came up with the idea to start a nonprofit and the first program, Afternoon T, after attending her first formal tea hosted by her friend and neighbor. The experience left her feeling special and connected to other women in the community. It reminder her of the support she received while attending Bethune-Cookman University, when several mentors investing in making sure she knew how to handle herself in the workforce, including table etiquette. Inspired to help other women and be a mentor for her daughter, Sara, Victoria created Ready for the World in 2020.
Our mission
Ready for the World was created by Victoria Thompson, Co-Founder of GenFree LLC, to equip females of all ages with life changing education touching every aspect of their lives, from wellness to finances. We believe in the power of "the village", supporting and nurturing one another. Through collaboration with other non-profit organizations, community leaders, professionals, and businesses we can empower females for generations to come.
